I'm sure most of you heard of the lovely Heidi from Elegance & Elephants. She has released three beautiful patterns - the Ruffle top/dress, Bubble pocket shorts and Bubble pocket top with swing skirt(all Heidi's patterns are available directly through her blog). She also is about to release an awesome Fedora hat pattern - she is giving away a copy of the pattern on her blog so hurry and enter!!. Heidi's sewing is beautiful, with clean lines, lovely technique and a really professional finish. I am looking forward to sewing up a few bubble shorts for my girls for the Aussie summer soon! Heidi lives in Canada and sews for her two gorgeous children - Tobias and little Anja. I love Heidi's work!
Heidi has altered my Debbie's birthday dress pattern into a super smart tunic...Gee, great minds think alike... Just I received the picture of Heidi's tunic version, I had just published my Tunic Length Adjustment chart on my blog. Super easy to change my pattern into tunic length - perfect for layering for the Northern Hemisphere fall coming up! All the recommended lengths are included in my chart - simply a matter of shortening the hemline on the pattern pieces before you cut your fabric.
