PATTERN RELEASE: Dear Prudence!!!

I wasn't going to publish this 'til 10pm, but I'm ready now so....I am very excited to release my latest vintage inspired dress pattern today - Dear Prudence. I made my first version of this dress around eight months ago and today it is all finished and ready to share!!

Dear Prudence is a vintage inspired and playful dress that has sweet details which make the design feminine and unique. The bodice is lined and features a shirred section at the centre and a three quarter piped collar accented with little shirt buttons. The front skirt piece features central gathers and deep piped pockets. The back features a row of elastic to draw the back of the dress in. The dress length sits mid knee.

The dress offers the options of sleeveless, extended cap sleeve and three quarter length sleeve. The shirring detail eliminates the need for closures and means your girl can dress herself! The pattern name was inspired by the old Beatles song, “Dear Prudence…won’t you come out to play?”

Sizing is 12 mo - 10 years.
The files includes:

26 page file for instructions (FILE 1) and either 24 pages of pattern tiles (home printing) (FILE 2) or one large AO sheet for print shop printing (FILE 3);
detailed photographic and textual instructions for each construction step;
cutting diagrams;
glossary;
measurements throughout in metric and imperial;
detailed size charts;
fabric requirements;
printable in black and white or colour on standard printer paper;
AO size paper print option - no taping!
tips on achieving great shirring;
piping instructions.

Over the past ten days, eighteen fantastic testers have sewed up my pattern, helped me improve my instructions and given me the essential feedback needed to make a great pattern.
